UltraFormat

The UltraFormat fragments each pyhsical pixel into several sub-pixel. The image information of this sub-pixel is calculated with a special method which includes neighborhood pixels. The spatial resolution stays unchanged.

UltraSensitivity

The image sensor has a very high light sensitivity. Adverse to other cameras the system does need less light for aquisition.

UltraSpeed

UltraSpeed increases the readout speed of the image sensor with a special method. The spatial resolution stays unchanged, but the image blur increases.

UV

This abbreviation stands for ultraviolet radiation and describes the non visible part of light with wavelengths between ~10nm and 400nm
